Unlocking Bible Code…Jesus in Genesis

I have interesting discussions with atheists all the time here on Facebook and more than once they have brought a scripture up to me, defying me to show them proof to back up Jesus’ words.Jesus Said of Moses: “He wrote about Me…..”Jesus made a very curious remark to the Jewish leaders in the gospel of John. They were questioning him about something, and He said to them:
John 5:46 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.”

If you go looking through the first 5 books of the Bible, you will not see the name of Jesus mentioned. But I believe that God wants us to search deep into His Word for answers, and what I am about to show you, in my opinion is divine prophecy forecasting the Son of God , dying for the sins of the world. But you say to me, Pastor Darrell, if it had been in there the Jews would have seen it. Some say in history that they did and chose to ignore it in order to propagate their own religious ends. God lays it out for those who have spiritual eyes to see it, and ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying through His word.
Jesus said Moses spoke of Him and He did. We are going to look at Genesis 5, and unlock a Bible Code. When I first saw this, I was jumping out of my seat. Below is a shortened version of Genesis the 5th chapter with the material we need for this piece.

  • This is the written account of Adam’s line. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. He called him man.
Adam he had a son he named him Seth.
  • Seth became the father of Enosh.
  • Enosh had became the father of Kenan.
  • Kenan became the father of Mahalalel.
  • Mahalalel became the father of Jared.
  • Jared became the father of Enoch.
  • Enoch became the father of Methuselah.
  • Methuselah became the father of Lamech.
  • Lamech had a son, he named him Noah

What we are going to do in this piece is translate the meaning of the ten names mentioned in the genealogy of Adam. In these names is the prophecy of the “Second Adam”, the Son of God who would redeem the world from sin.

Since the ten Hebrew names are proper names, they are not translated but only transliterated to approximate the way they were pronounced. The meaning of proper names is a little difficult since direct translations are not easily available. A study of the original roots in the Hebrew has yielded some fascinating results.
I am going to go through the names one by one and then at the end add them together to show the secret Bible code of Genesis 5, supporting the verse in John 5:46 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.”

  • Let’s take the first name, Adam, comes from adomah, and means “man.” As the first man, that is fairly simple Adam means…..MAN
  • Seth…Adam’s son was named Seth, which means “appointed.” When he was born Eve said, “For God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.” Seth’s name means…APPOINTED
  • Enosh….Seth’s son was called Enosh, which means “mortal,” “frail,” or “miserable.” It is from the root anash: Which is translated literally…….MORTAL
  • Kenan…….Enosh’s son was named Kenan, from which can mean “sorrow,” dirge,” or “elegy….Literally translated….SORROW
  • Mahalalel……..Kenan’s son was Mahalalel, from mahalal, which means “blessed”, or “praise”; and El, the name for God. Thus, Mahalalel means literally…. THE BLESSED GOD
  • Jared…Mahalalel’s son was named Jared, from the verb yaradh, Literal meaning …SHALL COME DOWN
  • Enoch……Jared’s son was named Enoch, which means “teaching,” or “commencement.” He was the first of four generations of preachers. Literal translation……TEACHING
  • Methuselah …….The name Methuselah comes from two roots: muth, a root that means “death”; and from shalach, which means “to bring,” or “to send forth.” Thus, the name Methuselah literally translated means….HIS DEATH SHALL BRING
  • Lamech……Methuselah’s son was named Lamech, a root still evident today in our own English word, “lament” or “lamentation.” Lamech literally translated means DESPARRING
  • Noah…….Lamech, of course, is the father of Noah, which is derived from nacham . Noah literally translated means ……COMFORT

Now let’s put them all in order into a sentence……

Man (has) Appointed Mortal Sorrow ;( but) The Blessed God Shall Come Down Teaching, (and) His Death Shall Bring the Despairing Comfort

Here in Genesis for those who have the wisdom to see is God’s plan of redemption, hidden here within a genealogy of the first 10 men to live.

This story reaches deeper than you may think at first glance. The truth of this genealogy shows that in chapter 5 of the Book of Genesis, God had already laid out His plan to redeem mankind for the sin of Adam. Genesis is the beginning of a love story, written in the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ on a cross over 2000 years ago. Thank you Lord for your sacrifice, and thank you for the truth of your Word. Moses knew and Jesus knew, all the way back in Genesis the 5th Chapter.

  1. VERY INTERESTING. I WILL BE FOLLOWING YOU IN THIS ONE. BUT ITS NOT A SECRET CODE,THIS IS A PROPHECY HIDDEN TO ALL BUT THOSE WHO WOULD STUDY IT OUT. THAT IS WHY ARE INSTRUCTED TO ..STUDY TO SHOW OURSLVES APPROVED. A WORKMAN,NOT TO BE ASHAMED..RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH. ALSO,YOU WOULD BE SUPRISED O KNOWJUST HOW MUCH OF THIS KIND OF STUFF WAS HIDEN,CHANGED,OR OMMITTED BY KING JAME’S TRANSLATORS AS HERESY. OR JUST NOT FIT FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE. THE RESEARCH IS FACINATING. THANKS BRO. D.

  2. This is awesome! I knew there are references to Jesus and His coming in the OT. But, I did not think in terms of this kind of deciphering. I knew that when the Lord speaks in the plural in the OT, He is talking about Himself and Jesus. (We) Thanks so much for this. I, too, will be following along to see what else you have to reveal to us. Praise the Lord!

  3. What’s this you say? Quote: YOU WOULD BE SUPRISED O KNOWJUST HOW MUCH OF THIS KIND OF STUFF WAS HIDEN,CHANGED,OR OMMITTED BY KING JAME’S TRANSLATORS AS HERESY.

Thanks Pastor Darrell… I always wanted to get one of those Bible decoders… I will one day/ Curious as I am, I want to look my own name up to see what it reveals…..

What? None of you haven’t thought about doing this? I don’t know… it may not be possibe? I don’t know….

  4. Yes! Isn’t that beautiful. Believe it or not, I just had that posted on my wall the other day. There are so many codes in the Bible, it’s exciting. Another Torah nugget is:
    Genesis: Bereshit-At, In the beginning
    Exodus: Shemot-Names
Leviticus: Vayikra-Adonai called, the Lord called
    Numbers: Bamidbar-In the desert
    Deuteronomy: D’varim-the words
IN THE BEGINNING these are the NAMES ADONAI CALLED IN THE DESERT these are THE WORDS. Shalom, shalom.

  5. I’m a Latter-Day-Saint, we’re taught from a very young age that Jesus Christ is mentioned, not by name, in the OT several times.

Hidden meanings, messages, prophecies..etc are littered all over the OT and the NT. And for those of us who are Latter-Day-Saints, the BoM (Another Testiment of Jesus Christ), too.

It’s wonderful that Heavenly Father, in his infinite wisdom, told of his Sons coming thousands of years before….so those that could, would understand and help pave the way. Hail to the Prophets, for they all made a path for Christ to come to this Earth! 🙂

  6. Just in time to be reading Genesis what a timne to get this here Darrell, Thank You sir. Its a blessing to see this. I like this here.

  7. Brother Darrell:

What a great teaching. I loved it!

    Thanks for sharing,
    GShow

  8. Fascinating idea! Have you worked on Cain’s line? I’ve had a play around with the meanings of some of his line.

Cain – spear, Enoch – dedicated , Irad – city of witness, Mehujael – smitten of God, Methushael – man of God, Lamech – strong / man of prayer.

‘Spear’ that ‘dedicated’ the ‘city of witness’ that was ‘smitten of God’ by ‘man of God’ the ‘man of prayer’.

All of the names have several meanings, but this made some sense, because Jerusalem witnessed the Crucifixion, and it was smitten.

Then I played around with the meanings a little more and got this.

‘Spear’ that ‘pierce into’ the ‘witness testimony’ to ‘wipe out’ the ‘man of God’.

Both renderings make sense. As we know witness testimony was the new testament, and Jesus was the man of God.

See what you can get. 🙂

  9. This was very, very great for me to find your page. Hardly ever do i use the internet. I have been studying alot lately and to just happen to have your article pop up first was great! The prophecy that is in the text of the bible just strengthens the idea of the person having to be truly committed to god and his word. For a person who needs god needs his word. The words are strength. And without having them each day. How would the prophecy’s be found inside the text. I myself have never had this dawn on me. Im trying now in my life to do whats right after a many years of sin of crime and drug addiction. I will one day be wise enough to interpret the entire word i hope. Now its just truly great to read a person like you give the gift you have found to people who need it. I wouldnt begin to be smug or ridicule what you have done. What im trying is to interpret each and every book and see the meaning. Iwant to say thank you. Lord is truly miraculous in his works and truths isnt he?

  10. I would like to ask you a couple questions, if you dont want to answer them i will understand. First, when john says in 13 “the book of life, which belongs to the lamb who was killed before the world was made” ,this is saying what? That god is jesus and he knew jesus would be killed before he created earth? Or is it meant differently? Second, how did you come up with the idea to decipher the text word by word at a time? Is there any other scripture that you have unlocked? Third, is it possible for someone like me who sinned for so long and has done horrible things to others and myself to be forgiven, and do you believe that the lord can love someone like me in heaven? Is it ok to want to be gone from this life if its heaven that i want to be?

    • What John is saying in John the 1st chapter is repeating what Genesis 1:1 in that God is said to have created all things: in this verse, Christ is said to have created all things:therefore Christ and the Father are One. Creation means causing that to exist that had no previous being: this is evidently a work which can be effected only by omnipotence. God always had planned from the beginning of what we know as time that Christ the Lamb of God would be slain for the sins of the world. As far as the Genesis code, I wish i could say that i was the one who unlocked it but it came many many theologians before me who had a vast understanding of the Aramaic, and I am sure that they were guided by the Holy Spirit to reveal this truth to man. God tells us in 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That includes you Michael. As far as life and death go, we all want to go to Heaven, but the time of our death is already known by God. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. If you are alive in Christ and have forgiveness of your sins by His blood, you need not fear God’s judgement and will be forever with Him in heaven

      • this is great but what about Gen 38, in hebrew every 49th letter gives the geneology of King david the namwes written there in order are Boaz Ruth Obed Jessie and David . How amazing that the geneology of David and through to mary the mother of Christ was known to God from the beginning . exciting isn’t it, his signature is every where.

      • Amen Kathy, We serve an amazing God, we see the hand of God in everything. Thanks for sharing the point of the genealogy – Blessings in Christ Darrell

  11. Pastor Darrell, God lead me to you tonight. I watched the movie/series The Bible these past weeks. Last night, a question formed in my mind. When was the first time Jesus was mentioned in the bible. Ask.com lead me to you. I believe God lead me here. So thank you and Peace and Blessings upon you.

    • Thanks for stopping by. In my opinion the first mention of Jesus would be Genesis 3:15 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman,And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Blessings Darrell

  12. I have a Aramaic Bible and the name of the creator is Allaha. Is the creator mentioned in the bible by that name.

  13. This is amazing. I’m 20 years old and I’m still trying to decipher my bible as I read it every night. It does my heart good to find information like this. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you God for teaching us, and opening the eyes of those who want to dig deeper. This was fantastic!
