Believers Sharing on Pinterest

I have recently been introduced to a new website that I love. It is called Pinterest. Pinterest is a social network where you can express and share the love of God with others in a visual setting with pictures. It was launched in 2010 and became one of the top 10 social networks by the end of the year. It is now claimed to be fifth largest source of referral traffic on the Web.

It is defined as a ‘pinboard’ – where people post and share images or resources they hold dear or find interesting. You have your own personal board where you can share pictures that speak to you with others. It is a wonderful way to see the love of God as others do visually. I enjoy cruising around the site to see the love of God expressed in pictures. I invite you to check it out at . Not only is it a way of sharing images, and also write your own comments, sharing your faith. For you bloggers out there you can invite people to follow your Pinterest page by adding a ‘follow’ button to your website or blog. You can include a URL to make your photos clickable to reach the related webpage sharing your website with others.

Pinterest is a wonderful place to share your story with others and receive blessings from others walk with the Lord. There is a link to a slide presentation and short video explaining Pinterest at the bottom of this page.

Although currently you must request an invite to join, confirmation comes through within an hour or so. I invite you to check it out, you will enjoy. Below are some images from different boards on the site.

  1. Hi Darrell

I have just recently stumbled across Pininterest too. Didn’t quite know how to go ahead with it. Thanks for your post which has given a bit more insight.

    God bless

  2. I’ve recently started using pinterest as well. It’s a great social platform that enables us to show our love and blessings through art… In a more graphic and moving way than through text alone.
