Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.
In this verse we read “For by him all things were created”. This verse tells us tells us the origin of math. It tells us God created all things. The word “all” includes everything, even math. How does math work? It works by God. In the next verse we read, “In Him all things hold together”. Math is precise, because God holds it all together.
Mathematical truths are real only because they are not the product of the human mind, but of the divine mind. It was God who had invented math and it is He who has placed mathematical laws on the universe. For humanity, mathematics is a matter of discovery, rather than invention. As we learn the absolute consistency of math we know that an absolute consistent God is the inventor of that truth.
Everything in the universe involves mathematics. “All things” can be broken down into mathematical equations. The mountains, stars, oceans, planets; even the very air we breathe. The existence of math is in itself an act of creation. We know that the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second because we calculated it. But we did not create the equation, we discovered it. God invented it. From knowing the exact distance that the Earth had to be from the sun for life to exist and survive; to knowing how to construct human DNA to create a human being – we see evidence of the Master Mathematician throughout all creation.
God the Father is God, God the Son is God, and the God the Holy Spirit is God, and the three are one God. Mathematical proof of that is Infinity + Infinity + Infinity = Infinity.
Matthew 10:30 Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Here is a fun little fun with numbers and then I will show you how to exceed 100% with God’s love in your life.
1 x 8 + 1 = 9
12 x 8 + 2 = 98
123 x 8 + 3 = 987
1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876
12345 x 8 + 5 = 98765
123456 x 8 + 6 = 987654
1234567 x 8 + 7 = 9876543
12345678 x 8 + 8 = 98765432
123456789 x 8 + 9 = 987654321
1 x 9 + 2 = 11
12 x 9 + 3 = 111
123 x 9 + 4 = 1111
1234 x 9 + 5 = 11111
12345 x 9 + 6 = 111111
123456 x 9 + 7 = 1111111
1234567 x 9 + 8 = 11111111
12345678 x 9 + 9 = 111111111
123456789 x 9 +10= 1111111111
1 x 1 = 1
11 x 11 = 121
111 x 111 = 12321
1111 x 1111 = 1234321
11111 x 11111 = 123454321
111111 x 111111 = 12345654321
1111111 x 1111111 = 1234567654321
11111111 x 11111111 = 123456787654321
111111111 x 111111111=12345678987654321
How far will knowledge, hard work, and attitude take you compared to the love of God? Let’s see. We will assign a number (1-26) to each letter of the alphabet (A-Z).
K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E = 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%
H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K = 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%
A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E = 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%
Nothing compares to the love of God which is able to do more than you could ever ask or want.
L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D = 12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4 = 101%

Great post! It reminded me of a really cool video I recently saw to do with Math and God. You’ll have to check it out. I think you would like it http://vineoflife.net/2013/02/07/the-beauty-of-mathematics-afterall-we-do-have-a-mathematical-god/ I would just post the video instead of the link to my news website, but many people do not like videos posted in their comments area. 🙂 So whenever you have time…check it out. God bless you and your family, Darrell.
Thanks Lyn… I saw another video like that one, the 101% Love of God number sequence has been around awhile, I just decided to share it. Thanks for the post and video link. Blessings Darrell
I was off the net for a few years, and never blogged, until this past year, may 2012. So it is new to me. I enjoyed it, thought you might like it too. And you are welcome. Take care, and be blessed!
Who can argue with numbers? Great fun. Thanks.
🙂 Thanks Larry YW Blessings Darrell
Thanks for checking out my blog today. Hope you return. I will come back and check yours out later.
Thanks, I enjoyed your quote ” It is so easy to exercise judgment when an offering of love is usually much more appropriate” Good stuff 🙂 Blessings Darrell
LOVE YOU GOD LOVE you Darrell
Thank you 🙂 Blessings Darrell
What fun! It seems the more I am drawn to God the more I notice numbers, even in Scripture. I just ordered a ring with the infinity symbol on it: an eight on its side. I am bathing in infinite Love!
His love is infinite as well as His grace. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Blessings in Christ Darrell
Darrell, maths is not my favorite subject because I am more interested in the big picture. However, I am so glad our God is interested in details so much that Hiis creations are unique – man, animals, birds, fish, plants, trees. It would be so boring if He churned us all out of a factory God’s math is fascinating. Thanks for sharing. With your endoresement I will bless ChristianBlessings readers with your blog on 25th February,2013. Thank you. Blessings Evelyn
