The Love of God is With You – Inspirational Bible Verses

Love of God is with youIn the midst of your struggles, do you ever think that God is ready to give up on you? When you stumble and fail do you sometimes feel that God is frustrated by what you feel is your inadequacy? Do miscarriages, missteps and loss make you think that God sees you as an incompetent disappointment? There are many within the Body of Christ that find themselves living a demoralized, defeated life by this kind of misguided thinking.

Let me speak some truth to you. When you feel as though you are on top of the world, God loves you. When you feel as though the world is on top of you, God still loves you. When you are reveling in triumphant God loves you. When you are debased and vanquished God still loves you. In an imbalanced world surrounded by a cosmos of change the love of God is the greatest eternal fixed force in all of creation.

There is no question whether God wants us to live a satisfying life with goodness as the standard. The word of God abounds with examples of God’s love for us. A God who would forget us and abandon us in our time of need would not be deserving of our praise or worship.

The main reason that we doubt is because of the impish mischief-maker that whispers lies and deceit into our ears attempting to convince us that we are not worthy of God’s love. He uses every trespass and transgression of our lives (no matter how minuscule in nature) to tell us that we are insignificant and shameful, undeserving of God’s adulation. It is at these times that we must be reminded that we have an advocate in Christ Jesus who loved us enough to lay down His life for our iniquity. By His sacrifice on Calvary He abolished, removed, and rescinded the debt that we owed for our sin. The love of God is not dependent on us. It is dependent on the promises in His Word, and His Word never fails.

Romans 5:8 God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 2:11 tells us that God does not show favoritism. God does not have selected favorites, we are all His favorites. When the enemy is lying to you, telling you that you are unworthy, be reminded that God loves you as much as He loves Moses, Isaiah, Elijah or any of the great patriarchs of the Bible. In Christ you are a modern-day ancestor of a holy line of saints washed in the blood of the Lamb, worthy of God’s love, care, grace and compassion.

  8. Thank you Darrell, your heart always touches mine and I’m sure anyone else’s who knows and believes God’s Truth. Jesus died for us and that makes us worthy, no not in our flesh that must be put to death because no matter how much we try we can’t earn God’s Love, He Loved us first and before we were Born but He chose us to be conformed into the image of Jesus knowing that we would choose Him, not because we have to but because we want to and when we do we will understand just how much He Loves us, He is Love and can do no evil. 1Corinthans2:9-16

I believe if I had been alive when Paul was, he would not have been able to claim that he was the worst of sinners but then until we all say that about ourselves we will not humble ourselves and come to True heart repentance, when we break one Commandment we have broken them all. I’m not proud of the evil I have done that hurt God and others, like Paul and King David I have grieved greatly.

But this does not mean I live in guilt and despair now, I have been redeemed by my beloved Redeemer, from my past sins, I have been forgiven and they were taken away as far as the east is to the west and God chooses not to remember them anymore and I have been restored and set free, so now I can choose not to sin and so I will not sin as I’m empowered by The Holy Spirit not to, I don’t want to hurt my Lord and King or anyone else again.

Am I perfected in Love yet, No the same as Paul said he had not yet been perfected or had achieved the goal at one time in his Christian walk but he said he was aiming for it and so am I and like Paul and other Christians throughout the ages, I will reach the goal of my Salvation before I die physically, how do I know because God tells us we will and He does not lie.

I wrote on a Thank you Post about being God’s Priceless Treasure (see link below ) He tells us that He knows those who are His and no matter how broken and trampled on we are, how dark with sin we were, we are still worthy, I am worthy, you are worthy Darrell and all who call on His Name in Truth are worthy, why because God tells us we are and He does not lie.

Thank you Darrell, although God wants us to walk in Holiness and He will empower us to do so as we choose to because we Love Him, He is also Loving and Compassionate and is always there to rescue us and when we call to Him in heart repentance, He forgives and restores us, thank you for the balance that you always share…..Christian Love and gratefulness from us both -Anne

  10. Where can we go that God is not with us? God is not the problem, we are, when we shut Him out of our lives, rejecting His love. The truth of His amazing love must be instilled in believers who are still captivated by the enemy’s lies and reminders are worth repeating. May I reblog?
    Thanks.for your loving service.
    Blessings
    Evelyn
