Plant with Grace -Harvest Love -Goodness Falls Like Rain

Grace Harvest Hosea 10:12Hosea 10:12 If you plant goodness, you will harvest faithful love. Plow your ground and you will harvest with the Lord. He will make goodness fall on you like rain.

We that are in Christ, as partakers of grace, need to plant that grace in this world that will in turn receive a harvest of love. In Christ have the seeds of grace in our hearts dwelling so richly in us. In the mercies of His grace we will reap a harvest of blessings that are eternal, not according to the merit of our works, but according to the love of God that planted the seeds of grace in us by Christ Jesus.

The hearts of those who find themselves devoid of grace are lost, overrun with weeds, thorns and thistles. Their hearts are hard and callous; in need of a renewing of their minds by the tender mercies of salvation that flowed from the wounds of our Savior upon the sacred tree.

As we share Christ and Him crucified, spreading the seeds of His benevolent love on unopened, unbroken soil, we will reap a plentiful harvest through the efficacious grace of God.

As we share the message of the cross we are to seek the Lord. As we seek God we are to pray for heavenly rains to come. Seeking God we pray, and wait for rain, after we have plowed the ground and planted seeds of grace. Christ will water our efforts, making them fruitful, leading to a harvest of redemption that will germinate and take root in the hearts of those that allow grace to bud in their hearts.

Let us sow the fields of grace with love and patience, that in the end we may obtain everlasting life, and reap a harvest of souls. Let us gather in the lost for the kingdom of God, as we honor the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, that the harvest might be ripe as we utilize the tools he has given us in these last days.

The grace of the Lord is our strength, to support and carry us on through all labors. The heart that truly believes shall in due time greatly rejoice as His goodness falls on us like rain. In the harvest we will rejoice in others’ blessings as well as our own. God’s children adopted by grace are His inheritance, and precious in His sight. May the effective power of grace lift those who are lost up forever; not only those of this day, but all those in the days to come. Those saved by the seeds of grace planted by a labor of love will be lifted up forever by Christ who is the Resurrection and the Life.

  1. Thank you for sharing these Truths from God’s Word, Darrell. They were a sweet, soothing balm to my soul to not grow weary in well doing, but I will reap a harvest if I don’t give up..

  2. Thank you for the encouraging words. A beautiful reminder that our work for the Lord is never in vain.

  3. Inspring thoughts! May we all be bold in our faith and share the love of Christ with others. We never know when we are part of something God is trying to do in someone’s life. Let the Holy Spirit be our guide as we sow His Word. Blessings!

  4. How very comforting ~ thank you sincerely ~ Deborah

  5. please pray for me plz bolster my faith

  6. Thank you Darrell, your message brings comfort and assurance that our being faithful in doing God’s work in His way, brings a rich harvest as we plant His seeds of Truth in His Name with His empowering and as we pray for more workers (see below ) how wonderful to know God will increase, 1Corinthians 3:6-8 so even if we don’t see the fruit now we can be assured we are still planting seeds for eternity, this is a Treasure beyond earthly reckoning.

Luke 10:2 Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest.

But God warns us too that in the end times there will be many with itching ears only wanting people to agree with the wrong they do and say and some will deliberately teach deception wanting them to remain lost but their reward will not be a treasure, the same as those who Trust in their own fleshy understanding, rejecting God’s wisdom in Christ Jesus, which they do not ask for and so do not receive.

Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for Light, and Light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

God is a Loving God, this is very True as we all know but He is also a Holy God and asks us to choose to be Holy too and then He will empower us to be by The Holy Spirit.

Have you ever felt like giving up Darrell, I don’t mean on life but on sharing God’s Truth, Jesus tells us when we follow Him we will be hated and rejected, but we also we have His assurance He will be with us and strengthen us but many aren’t willing, their focus is if it feels good do it, how sad for them, this world as we know it is temporary but we are never to judge anyone for their Salvation, they may come to heart repentance even on their deathbed by the seeds we have planted, only God knows their destiny, we just continue as you shared to plant in Love and Truth, and if needed to rebuke and correct error, this is all God’s goodness.

Proverbs 27:4-6 Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
