It’s that time again when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amidst all the commercialization and secularism that society attaches to His birth, let us always remember the true meaning of Christmas.
God put the fate of all humanity His hands in the form of a baby God-child named Jesus.
Luke 1:31-35 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end. “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 1:18 – A White Christmas – Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be white as wool.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Luke 2:12-14 A Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests.”
Joy to the world – Luke 1:14 He will be a joy and gladness to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth.
Thank you for sharing the birth of Christ with me this Christmas. Seasons greetings to you and yours and may Christ be at the center of all your holiday cheer. May the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ upon you and all your family. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.
