It seems that we are never happy with where we are at in life. We ask ourselves questions that create doubt in our own minds such as “I wonder if there is something better for me in life than this?” Doing this will many times keep you from enjoying where you are in God’s plan for your life. Instead ask yourself this question – “How did I get so blessed to be where I am in God’s will for my life?” Being in the center of God’s will, no matter the circumstance, makes you the luckiest person on earth.
If things are difficult in your life, remember that God should always be your focus. Do not dwell on where you are, but instead where God wants you to be. God has a life panned for each of us according to His will. Do not allow the enemy to make you feel as though you are trapped in a dark, gloomy room without any windows. Instead of being depressed and worrying, learn to develop a “holy curiosity” in your mind. Let faith arise in your heart and say,” Lord I marvel at the works of your hand, and the mystery of your will, and with childlike curiosity I look forward to my future.”
Instead of dwelling on the negative, visualize the positive. Thank God for the good things in your life; the gifts He has given you such as your children and your health.
Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 God has made has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also put eternity in our hearts, but we cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for us than to rejoice and be happy and to do good while we live. It is also the gift of God whenever anyone eats, drinks, and enjoys all his efforts. I know that all God does will last forever; there is no adding to it or taking from it.
God has a plan for all the situations of our life; guided by His Spirit we instinctively know this, but we cannot fully comprehend it. It is our duty to make the best of what we are given, and to recognize that God governs all things in our lives and our destiny will be according to His will.
All God’s plans will be revealed in His time. He will create beauty in our lives as all things were created by Him. Many things are done directly by His hand, yet and at times He uses others as instruments. In God’s plan there is always beauty and harmony, no matter the circumstance. I have found that in life there will be times of prosperity and there will be times of loss. There will be times of laughter and there will be times of mourning. God coordinates all these events according to the counsel of His will wisely for our purpose. God will drop flowers of grace in the garden of your heart so all will see the beauty that is your life in Christ.
We only see mere seconds in part of God’s plan as a whole. As such we cannot grasp what is the blueprint for our life. We all have a definite past, but with God we have an indefinite future that is infinite by His grace, full of hope and wonder. There is unity and harmony in God’s plan for our life and we must embrace it. So, have faith in the Lord and in His providence as all things work together for good for them that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

This post is truly inspirational! You said so many good things here, Darrell. Amen and amen! Especially, that we should always look to God instead of our circumstances. That one key point alone can transform every situation into something that brings us closer to our Father’s heart instead of further down a path that the enemy intends for us. Blessings to you, brother.
Thank you Mel – Your words of wisdom I always take to heart and very much appreciated – In Christ, Darrell
Thank you Darrell, a very good focus and it’s True, we are to give thanks in all things from the rising of the Sun to it’s setting and we can because God tells us He does not afflict us (see below) but He is with us in our affliction. Isaiah 43:1-3
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
God is Love and He cannot do evil and when we Love with His Love nor can we.
Sadly so many blame God for the suffering they experience and so they don’t Trust Him but as you shared so beautifully in your graphic Darrell, His intention is to make all things beautiful in His time, He plants beautiful flowers in our hearts not weeds because His plans for us are very good and He will always be with us, right up to harvest time and than for Eternity.
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
