There will be days when you feel like giving up; when you are spent, desperate, wore out and on the brink of exhaustion. There will be days when you will find all your strength is all gone. There will be days when you find yourself in sickness and sorrow, feeling like you want to die.
Life can sometimes leave you feeling tired as it passes you by in slow-motion while your world seems to have lost its flavor. You don’t hear music the way you used to; you don’t see clouds the way you used to. The sweet aroma of fresh fallen rain that used to delight your senses now goes by unnoticed as the dreary showers dampen your mood.
We are all born and we will all die. Every tombstone is marked with a dash in the middle from date of birth until date of death. We had no control of our birth and we have no control of the day of our death. Life – Death. We control the dash in the middle. Allow God to make your dash full of joy, meaning and purpose.
If you find yourself gasping, breathing in the dust of your past failures and disappointment, you need healing from your merciful Savior. If you reach out to Him, He will answer you without hesitation. You can know with entire confidence that you can rely on God to heal you and be your strength.
We all get caught up in all the hustle and bustle of life, the grinding never seems to stop. At times we feel as we are just burning time, standing still as life passes us by. We spend so much time at trying to make a living that we forget how to live. As we struggle, we feel that there has to be more to our existence as we look for answers when the truth is right in front of us.
Hopelessness will leave you believing that you are lost, considering that you cannot survive. The hope that God will give unto you will heal your broken heart and spirit when nothing else can.
Jeremiah 17:14 – God, pick up the pieces of my life. Put me back together again. I give you my praise.
In God we have the assurance that life cannot steal your hope. In Christ, life will not leave you shattered and broken. God will comfort your heart and spirit in difficult times, and heal the heartache in your life. He is the Great Healer that who will place the salve of grace on your bumps and bruises, comforting your broken heart and mending your shattered life. He is the Lord your Healer. He will make the bitter things in your life taste as sweet as honey upon your tongue.
This stressful world and society bombards us, as we feel the weighty under the load of seemingly unsolvable problems.Trust in God and He will deliver you; this is His promise, over and over again. God is constantly reforming your future, erasing your painful yesterdays and giving you the strength to endure today. In Christ you have a new tomorrow; and a promise of a joyful abundant life.
Psalms 71:20-21 . . . God, you have made me see it through many troubles and calamities and you will always revive me again. From the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. You will increase my greatness and comfort me over and over again. God, you’ve done it all! Lord there is none like you. God, you have enabled me stare trouble in the eyes, and You have turned me around. With You I can look life in the face. I’ve been to the bottom; but You will bring me up, overflowing with honors. Please hear my voice and come unto me, and be tender to me.

Thanks Darrell for this message. i turned away from the LORD years ago, after following Him since 1982. I sinned like i never had before i was born again, and thought that i can never ever be forgiven and whole again, but JESUS picked up all the broken pieces and made me whole. i love the song: He touched me, O He touched me, and O the joy that floods my soul, something happened and now i know, He touched me and made me whole.
Beautiful comment Belinda – Thank God for His saving grace – Blessings Darrell and Grace
Thank you for writing this, Darrell. I have Ménière’s Disease (inner ear, causing vertigo & many other symptoms)–I have a mild case now, could get worse, but many people online have shared how miserable & disabling it is for them. I have shared this post with the Ménière’s Resources Facebook page. I know that some will be blessed by your encouragement. I am!
