Trusting God to Stay on Track – Inspirational Bible Verses

trusting God - Stay on track Philippians

We have success born in the Spirit of Christ. In Him we have endless possibilities as we allow God to mold us and utilize the hidden talent in us. Only God knows our full potential.

Learning to stay on track is important in life. I want everything that God has for me in this life. If your mind is filled with anything else, ask God to clear your clouded vision. It takes commitment to stay the course. Wanting everything that God has for you in this life does not meaning feeding your appetite and looking for the easy-street in life. The easy street is a dead-end street. There is far more to life than the mere success this world has to offer.

In following that path, there is a comfort given to us that replaces our fear of failure and disappointment. We should not worry and agonize if we feel that our life is headed in the wrong direction. Instead of worrying, let your petitions be known to God, and allow grace to displace the worry at the center of your life. Doing this will enable you to see the good things in life, not the bad – the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to be happy about, not things to make you sad.

We cannot see God’s plan with our human eyes and human intuition. Our inward abilities, qualifications and possibilities are seen with our spiritual eyes as they are revealed to us by the Lord. The Lord looks at the heart and sees into the deepest most inner parts of our minds. He enables us see what we cannot so we can follow His design. Only God can empower us see the possibilities and potential that we have. In the flesh we see our own failure and weakness, but in God we have a hope born in the Spirit of Christ. We are bound for heaven, sealed with the Spirit of promise, evidenced by the work of grace in our hearts by Christ Jesus.

There will be times we will feel weak in our faith, and struggle in our lives. We are to remember the words of our Savior and hang on to them for dear life. His words will hold us up when we travel through the storm. His words will rejuvenate us when we are down. His words will keep us on the right track.

Every time that I disobey God and ignore His direction, I find myself in trouble, and I am beside myself with anger. I find myself walking through the rains of fear and disappointment, looking for sunshine because I failed to obey the words of my Lord. But when I seek His counsel and follow His direction, I find that my way is gracious just as He promises. I have learned the hard way – that when God gives me direction, not to drag my feet.

God does not forget His plans for us, but sometimes we do, and that will lead us off-track. Never make detours from the course that God has laid out for you. Even the smallest deviation will result in your taking the long way around to get where God wants you to be. His divine directions will lead to your success and well-being.

I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go- Isaiah 48:17

I trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge Him and He directs my paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

God will show me the path of life. Psalm 16:11

  1. Excellent reminder, a truth we all need to revisit often. Blessings to you Darrell. 🙂

  2. This reminds me that God will sometimes put a wall, or even a mountain in our path. Yet that’s what He wants. He doesn’t put it there to stop us, but to see if we go around it, over it, or if we trust Him to remove it as only He wills.

  3. “We cannot see God’s plan with our human eyes and human intuition.” This is a great reminder. We cannot see the path God lays out for us because we don’t have His perspective. The surrender and trust come when we acknowledge He truly does know what’s best for us.

  4. Couldn’t have come at a more opportune time.

  5. Distractions galore – how easy to wander. Can’t keep on track on our own – only with His guiding hand. May we always choose to accept His guidance even when we can’t see the track ahead. A good reminder for all including my blog readers, Darrell. Agree for me to share this Sunday?
The Lord guide you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. Darrell.

  6. A great message Darrell, so much assurance of God’s good will for us, it reminded me of the Scripture below.

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a Hope.
